Meet Our Doctor

Dr. Alem was born in the United Kingdom and migrated to the U.S. at a young age. Since then, she has lived in Kansas, Utah and now Oklahoma! She is in love with the food here and, most of all, the friendly hospitality that Oklahomans have!

Dr. Alem grew her interest in dentistry in high school when watching a dentist work on her brother. She found dentistry to be a form of art as it took great hand skills and a good eye for detail that she knew she possessed due to her background in fine arts. Her passion for dentistry further developed as she learned the impact she had on patients when getting them out of pain or giving them a brand new smile they were proud of. She especially enjoys treating patients with the love and care needed to lessen the fear of dentists that many people have.

Dr. Alem completed her undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in chemistry and psychology at Wichita State University. Afterwards, she made a big move to Utah and completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Roseman University of Health Sciences. She furthered her training in dentistry by completing over 100 hours of continuing education courses that specialize in implants and surgical extractions while making the big move to Oklahoma for work. Here, she met the love of her life and settled down to make Oklahoma her permanent home.

In her spare time, Dr. Alem loves to travel, try new foods, play sports and spend time with her amazing husband and friends. She is happy to be serving the people of Jones, Oklahoma, and surrounding areas and is excited to get to know everyone through dedicated patient care.
